BILLING

The water meters are read on or around the 15th of each month.  Once all of the readings are collected and processed, a statement is generated and mailed to each account on or around the 27th of each month.  The payment for that bill is then due on the 15th thereafter.

Any payment not received in the Mountain Peak S.U.D. office by the 24th day of each month will become delinquent and be cause for service dissconnection.

An example of this billing system is that the charges for utility service and water used between March 16th and April 15th will be due on May 15th by 5:00 pm.

If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, then the payment is considered late if not received by 5:00 pm on the next regular business day.

METER READING
The meters are read each month by Mountain Peak S.U.D. personnel.  The readings are sent via radio from the meter register to a computer as the technician drives by each meter.  Once all of the readings have been collected, the office staff transfers the readings into the billing system.  Next, we generate reports that allow us to review each account's usage prior to sending out bills.

Please call if more information is needed.
